PA Connect Google Tag Manager
With the help of the french agency Fifty-Five, Piano Analytics provided a plugin to the GTM Custom Template Library.
This plugin allows Piano Analytics tags to be triggered through GTM on the events generated on your site.
Native connector: Simply import the Piano Analytics plugin from Tag Manager's tag addition.
A central place to trigger all tags: Using a Tag Management System allows you to coordinate all tags fired by your site from one place. You can also rely on the same variable for various solutions.
Collaboration: Work with your team on the tag's variables and their use, tags, triggers and variables can easily be edited by everyone in your team.
Import templates

Settings template setup
In the Variables tab, create a new variable with the custom template AT Internet settings by 55.
In this variable, you have a few fields to set.
The SmartTag JS file URL needs to be filed with the link to your hosted file. This can be on Piano Analytics CDN (through Tag Composer) or your own hosting.
Please note that you can also use the standard smarttag.js file (https://tag.aticdn.net/smarttag.js). If you do so, you need to set the tracker configuration fields, at least the site
and collecDomainSSL
:
You also should probably set the Page properties, in order to track your page views. The page properties are set on the Settings variable in order to be used across multiple trackings.
Tag setup
In order to track events, go to the Tags tab, and create a new tag with the custom template AT Internet - SmartTag by 55.
You can then choose the Track type as well as the AT Internet Settings to use. This is where you use the previously created variable.
You can then create other tags in order to track multiple events type.
Don't forget to add a triger before saving the tag configuration.
Privacy management
Thanks to our plugin, you can manage the privacy status for our data collection.
You can create a new Tag with the track type set to Consent management (Privacy).
This will allow you to set the privacy status to optin, optout or exempt. You can also extend the parameters and storage allowed.
Finally, an option allows you to set the selected privacy mode only if none has already been set. This can be useful to use this tag as a default mode, and any other tag updating the privacy mode will take the lead.
