How do I add a new site in Piano Analytics?
Adding a new site creates a dedicated tracking perimeter (website, app, or other environment) identified by a site_id (auto-generated 6-digit number).
Prerequisites
Role required: Organization Administrator.
If you don't see the + button in the Data Collection Portal, you lack this role — ask your admin.

Information to prepare: site label, primary URL, domain, country, and time zone (affects how daily metrics are bucketed).
Step-by-Step Creation
Click on the app selector > Configuration > Data Collection Portal > Dashboard.
Click the + button (bottom-right).
Fill in the required fields: label, primary URL, time zone, domain/country.
Submit.
The validation is automatic. You can then retrieve the site_id and collection domain from the portal. Please note that it will appear directly in your interfaces, but the data can only be collected after a period of 1 hour approximately.
