Cancellation & removal of trackers
In the event of a cancellation request, you will need to remove the various trackers from all your platforms.
Collection cannot be blocked on our side, so it is up to you to stop sending events so that they are no longer received. Without this action, billing cannot be stopped.
Here are the withdrawals you need to make on your side:
Websites
Mobile Applications
Server-side calls
Advertising platforms and other marketing campaign links
CMP & TMS
Instant Article & AMP

Remove tags from your websites
The quickest way to stop the hits being sent is to delete the JS file used to send the hits (smarttag.js file or CDN version, for example: https://tag.aticdn.net/piano-analytics.js).
Then, more cleanly, you will need to remove the main tag from your site's source code, as well as all the event tags (clicks, MV Testing, AV Insights, Sales Insights, self-promotion, campaigns, etc.).
Please refer to our Developers documentation to find these tags:
Piano Analytics SDK | Smarttag
Note: Pages loaded in cache by browsers can sometimes continue to generate hits despite the removal of tags. If the proportion of hits generated does not exceed 1% of the overall average volume usually measured on the site, this will have no impact on the cancellation procedure.
Remove tags from your mobile applications
Non-native mobile applications and webviews
If you tagged your applications in JavaScript or have webviews, you can refer to the previous section to remove the tags. The same conditions apply.
Native mobile applications
If you tagged your native applications with our SDK, you will need to delete both your project's library and all the methods that use our SDK.
Note: We are aware that not all users will update their application. For this reason, there is some flexibility for this scope. We ask that the latest version published on the stores no longer contain our tags. There must be a break when this new version is released. Residual traffic from older versions will be tolerated. You will need to specify the version of the application from which our tags are no longer implemented, so that we can validate your cancellation request.
Remove server-side calls
Events may be sent via HTTP requests (order confirmation, offline confirmation, specific environments, etc.). It is up to you to stop all your routines containing these events.
Remove trackers from a TMS/CMP
If you tagged your websites with our tracker using a TMS, you will need to go to this tool and deactivate or delete the tags linked to Piano Analytics. Don't forget your CMP, too.

AMP/Instant Article tags
If you have AMP and/or Instant article tags, you will need to delete them.
