Introduction to Social Insights

Social Insights is a powerful tool that empowers Piano clients to measure and understand the performance of their social media content across major networks like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads. It enables comparison of performance across networks and handles and understanding of publishing tactics. Social Insights is available to all Amplifier clients using Socialflow. For clients licensing Analytics or Activation in addition to Amplifier, Social Insights combines social publishing data with site usage and engagement metrics to deliver a complete view of how social efforts contribute to audience growth, content impact, and overall performance.

In its first version Social Insights only includes data about Threads. Subsequent releases will add data from other social networks supported by Amplifier.

With Social Insights, media and marketing teams can:

  • Understand which posts, handles, and networks drive the most views and engagement.

  • Evaluate social performance at the post level to inform publishing tactics and scheduling.

  • Compare performance across social networks and handles to assess return on effort and optimize distribution strategies.

  • Identify how social audiences behave across the site — whether they bounce, subscribe, or convert. (Available for clients using Analytics or Activation.)

  • Benchmark performance and follow network trends to stay ahead of the competition.

Social Insights is built on top of Workspaces, Piano’s flexible dashboarding environment designed to support both analysts and business users. Workspaces makes it easy to create, view, and share dashboards that put actionable data at your fingertips.
