GDPR – Europrivacy

Europrivacy is a certification framework that meets the requirements of Article 42 of the GDPR concerning ‘Certification’ and has been validated by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).

This framework enables organizations to demonstrate that a personal data processing activity complies with the relevant provisions of the GDPR.

Piano Analytics has been audited by an independent and accredited third-party body, and the certificate below has been issued, demonstrating the compliance of the audience measurement solution with the GDPR, through the following elements:

• Definition of personal data

• Personal data processing agreement (DPA)

• Limiting the purpose of the data

• Data minimization and retention

• Management of sub-processors and potential transfers

• Appropriate technical and organizational measures, in particular pseudonymization and anonymization

• Users' rights

• Artificial intelligence

The Data Controller may claim to use an Analytics solution certified as GDPR-compliant on its platforms.

The certificate is subject to an annual surveillance audit.
