How to follow the number of Server Calls?

Why is the Server Call metric not available?

The concept of Server Call does not currently exist as a metric within our interfaces. From a technical and analytics standpoint, what we receive are events, and not all events count equally as Server Calls. For more information, please refer to your contract where everything is detailed.

How to estimate your Server Call volume?

You can however, estimate this number and follow it as a metric. We recommend using the "Events (all)" metric as the closest approximation to your Server Call volume.

⚠️ Important: This remains an estimation. The "Events (all)" metric counts 1 for each event, but not all events are equal to 1 Server Call:

  • Some events count as 1 Server Call

  • Other events count as 0.1 Server Call

  • A single hit can also contain several events

The event types valued at 1 or 0.1 Server Call are normally specified in your contract.
Since events costing 0.1 Server Call are in the minority, this estimation generally remains a viable and reliable approximation.
