User Scope Properties

A User in Piano Analytics is an authenticated visitor identified by a user_id property. This identifier — typically sourced from your CRM or authentication system — must be set explicitly through additional tracking.

When you use Piano Analytics, you have access to 11 properties giving you information about your users. You can find them simply by using the "User" tag or by searching for properties containing (user) in their wording. Here is the full list:

How are these properties calculated?

As soon as we start receiving data for Users, we will increment all properties. For example, for each visit, we will add 1 to the "Cumulated visits" property and fill in the date properties.
For the first access sources and the first access date, if they are earlier than your data retention period, the information will be "NULL".

You don't want to expose those information?

You can set them to hidden in the Data Model.
