May I schedule an email export via Data Query?

Scheduling exports with Data Query requires a delivery configuration such as an FTP server or an Amazon S3 bucket. Data Query scheduled exports cannot be delivered directly by email.

When you automate an export from a Data Query analysis, you must choose a destination configuration:

• FTP

• Amazon S3

You can typically set the export frequency (for example, daily, weekly, or monthly) when using the scheduled export option.

How to receive the same data by email using Boards

If you need email-based delivery, use the Subscription feature in Boards. It automates the delivery of PDF copies of your Board data via email, with customizable frequency, recipients, and formatting.

Setting up a subscription step by step

1. Open the Library, click the + button, and select Subscription.

2. Configure Subscription settings: name, delivery frequency, sites, and periods.

3. Choose Content: select which Board and which board pages to include.

4. Set up Email: add Piano users, teams, or email addresses. Customize the subject line and add a message for context.

5. Save. The subscription runs automatically on schedule.
