What is Reveal?
Reveal is a generative AI-powered assistant designed to help you understand your board data more quickly. By analyzing the content of a tile, Reveal automatically generates clear, accessible summaries and actionable recommendations—without requiring any prior setup. With Reveal, you can:
Understand your data more easily with simple explanations, no matter your level of expertise.
Take action with confidence thanks to contextualized recommendations based on the data displayed.
Spot hidden trends — Reveal highlights key behaviors and exceptional elements that may otherwise go unnoticed.
How to activate Reveal
Reveal is available on every tile within a board. To activate it, hover over the tile and click the ✨ button.
This opens a side panel where Reveal will present three analyses or interpretations of the dataset, each accompanied by recommendations.
What Reveal takes into account
To generate its insights, Reveal only uses the data available within the tile, specifically drawing from:
Board title and description
Tile title and description
Report metric names and descriptions
Report property names and descriptions
Tile segment names and descriptions
Current chart type
On-screen data (non-displayed properties and metrics are not taken into account)
It’s important to properly document your resources (titles, descriptions) and data model so the AI can correctly interpret the context and provide relevant insights. Without this information, Reveal may misinterpret indicators or produce overly generic insights.
Disclaimer
Reveal relies on automated interpretation of data and metadata. As such, the AI may produce inaccurate results, particularly if resources are poorly named, ambiguous, or lacking business context. All insights and recommendations should be reviewed with a critical eye.
Transparency
Reveal uses Anthropic’s Claude model (a large language model). We “query” the model by providing:
Instructions on how to generate insights
Contextual information to help the model understand the business environment related to the tile being analyzed: titles and descriptions of all relevant resources (see above) → metadata
The actual dataset used to display the tile (including data points) → data
Both metadata and data are already visible to users in the interface and accessible via the network. No additional data is used, and any overall commentary generated by Reveal is based solely on the model’s ability to generalize from the provided business context.
All data is processed within the region associated with your contract.
